In "Of Mice and Men" the two main characters are George and Lennie and they seem to have either a Commensalism Relationship or a Parasitism Relationship. The reason is is that in their relationship Lennie gets benefits from it and George doesn't really. In part of the book George was saying that his life would be so much better if he didn't have Lennie to look after so therefore it makes him "harmed" in the relationship. But what also makes me say that his isn't harmed in that relationship is that George apologized to Lennie and also deep down he really loves Lennie. And for the rest of the characters in the book they seem to think George is okay and that they don't really like Lennie, but towards the end, Curley's wife seemed to Like Lennie until he accidentally killed her. I'm not really sure how the relationships in "Of Mice and Men" and "A Child Called "It" really compare. There is hate and love in bother stories, but there is no relationship in either story that is exactly the same.
