This week we learned all about the elements of storytelling and the power of it as well. The main ideas go together because they are about storytelling; the elements and how powerful it is in general. The important details to the main ideas were a point of view, a dramatic question, emotion, voice, soundtrack, economy, and pacing, rythym, tempo, etc. Some activites and experiements we did when it came to this topic was watch TED Talks and write some stuff on the board and talk as a class about these things. We came to know and understand the ideas that we learned by watching videos and tryng to find way to relate. I still have some questions about it though. Some of the elements I do not fully understand. Elements like: economy and dramatic question. I believe I had decent participation this week. I've talked to my table when the times came and I did the things I was supposed to do. I would rate my understanding a half and half. I understand a good portion of what we learned this week, while I didn't quite understand another portion. I think I will still need to work on understanding some of the elements of storytelling a little bit more.
